Chef Takeaki Tadokoro was born in Kanagawa, Japan, in 1971. After two years of intensive sushi training in Japan, he moved to the U.S. in 2000 and spent 12 years honing his skills in San Diego. In 2012, he opened Sushi Tadokoro, realizing his vision of creating authentic Japanese sushi rooted in tradition. With each dish, he brings his years of experience and personal touch, sharing his passion with every guest.
